Andrea is pleased to offer a little luxury for those who want to camp at Downshay Farm in a comfortable bed.
Andrea’s Daffodil Bell Tent and Keepers Hut are open when the main campsite is open for tent camping.
We will be open for camping on the following dates in 2024:
Thursday 23rd May-Sunday 2nd June
Friday 5th July-Sunday 1st September

A minimum stay of 2 nights for the Bell Tent and the Keepers Hut are now in place.
The Keepers Hut
£95 per night – Sleeps 2
There is room in the Keepers Hut garden for a small tent, charges for this will be per night at the same rates as our tent camping.
The hut comes equipped with a kettle, toaster and Tassimo coffee machine, a selection of teas and coffees, sugar and milk. There is crockery, glassware and cutlery, an under counter fridge, washing liquid, hand soap and hand sanitiser.
Bedding is provided, unless you would prefer to bring your own. Towels are not provided.
The hut has a fire bowl outside, a barbecue, a gas hob and pans. There are garden chairs and a garden dining table and chairs for your use.
The Daffodil Bell Tent – With electric
£85 per night sleeping 2 people
£95 per night sleeping 4 people
Prices do not include extras such as bedding (£20 per booking) and camping kitchen (£10 per booking).
The tent comes equipped with a kettle, a selection of teas and coffees, sugar and milk. There is a washing up bowl, torch, crockery, glassware, cutlery, electric sockets, an electric cool box and ice packs.
The tent has a Wooden double bed and optional two single camp beds. Beds are made up with fitted sheets and a fleece blanket unless bedding is added as an extra. Bedding extra includes covered duvets and pillows. Towels are not provided.
Outside the tent there is a fire bowl, and barbecue. There are garden chairs and a picnic table for your use.
If requested, the camping kitchen extra contains a gas hob, kettle pots and pans.
Bookings will be taken via email or phone only this year. I will ask for a non-refundable deposit of £50 payable by BACS. I will confirm your booking via email, balance payable on arrival, cash or BACs. Please send me an email with the dates you are wishing to book, obviously some dates such as the bank holiday weekends will be popular so it will be first come first served for all dates.
